A juried exhibition is being held at the university, open to all art majors. The organizer needed a way to promote the event to students and distribute submission forms. I set out to accomplish both goals in one piece: the promotional poster is made up from a grid of (9) individual tear pads. The sheets on the tear pad have the poster image (1 of 9) on the front, and the submission form, including instructions, on the back.
The images below are elements I developed for an instructional video on the topic of folding shirts. Unfortunately the video was made in Flash and therefore outdated.

Craig’s list has been a very successful company despite its lack of traditional branding. My take on an actual logo incorporates imagery from the lexicon of newspaper classified pages: reading glasses (or binoculars) and page rules.
I created a field guide on the subject of my cat, Pistol. It describes his specific behaviors and provides the reader with a respective interpretation.
Our client, St. Edward’s University, hired us, the Public Art class, to create a three-dimensional piece to commemorate its 100th birthday. Our abstract birthday cake is constructed from cardboard. Walk inside and see images from the university going back to the early 1900’s, as well as hear audio interviews on loop from a hidden speaker with current students and faculty sharing fond memories.

Shoes for Austin is a non-profit that donates athletic shoes to children in need. The open-door design element symbolizes opportunity.
